Wooden Installations, X Rayed Buildings, Graffiti in Japan & an online 1UP

Hey boys and girls, it’s almost X-mas, for what reason I’d like to give you another urban art link-tips special including the latest street art and graffiti news I wasn’t able to pack into a proper post. So stay inside, grab a coffee or tea and enjoy the following links! Peace.

  • Playing with wood, paint and shadows, the two French artists Sambre and Lek just constucted an awesome indoor installation in Paris.
  • In the city of Budapest, art collective Merge Invisible found a nice way to commemorate old buildings: X-Rayed Buildings!
  • Earlier this year, famous urban artist M-City visited Mexico. This is a documentary of the trip
  • Well-known street artist Swoon is in London right now, working hard indoor as well as outdoor!
  • Brazil-based graffiti artist Titi Freak recently made a trip to Ishinomaki, Miyagi in Japan and painted a few walls.
  • A few days ago, Slinkachu installed a new miniature scenery in Germany!
  • I just stumbled upon a new graffiti photographer: Frenchman Startape got some pretty nice shots in his photo-stream!
  • In Prague, people turn billboards into merry-go-rounds
  • Moscow seems to be a nice spot to paint. Here’s a short clip from the Wall Project at Vinzavod Factory.
  • To celebrate the anniversary of the Montana Gallery in Lisbon, Aryz was invited to show some of his process drawings!
