Urban Design & Architecture Film Festival

UR{BNE} Films is an urban design and architecture film festival, coming up in Brisbane this May and in London this June! The main intention behind this very interesting project is to showcase films that inform and inspire about urban design, architecture, public spaces and collaborative design process, where communities and city design can be the subject, the background, the actor and lead role in the wide mixture of feature films, documentary and shorts…

UR{BNE} Films is inspired by a passion for making urban design more exciting, engaging and accessible to the public, and using film as a way to rethink issues and start critical conversations.

One of the participating movie is the grandiose film My Playground by Kaspar Astrup Schröder about Freerunning, Parkour and movement in urban space, I already share with you two years ago! And also Global Cities (see above), exploring the evolving role of cities and how they operate in realizing social, economic and environmental aspirations will be shown…

UR{BNE} Films seems to be an obligatory event for every urbanism enthusiast being in Brisbane or London!
