Urban Art Photo Contest

Update
Here are the winners of the Urban Photo-Contest 2010…

Now it’s time, the Urban Artcore’s second international Urban Art Photo Contest starts! It was a hard preparation, but finally everything should be fine and now it’s your turn:

Street Art, Graffiti & Action

What we (the jury and me) want to see are impressing photographs of street and graffiti artworks as well as urban artists in action or similar things like colorful atmospheres in abandoned areas, breathtaking impressions of public artworks, etc…
Important to mention is that superficially not the artwork itself counts, but the photo’s quality (style, light, atmosphere, interesting angle, etc.). That means we want your top shots!

Urban Art Prize Packages

Three big brands, Montana Cans, Publikat Publishing and Urban Stylistics, support the photo contest with a huge count of great giveaways. For that reason I am able to award a prize to the owners of the five winning photos! To keep the structure clean, I wrote one other article about the three supporters and one which describes the different prize packages you could win with your photo…

Join the Urban Photo-Competition

The contest will run between July 19th and July 25th, 2010. Basically everyone is allowed to join the competition. Participating and in that way having a shot at one of the great prize packages is really easy this year. All you have to do is to send me your winning photo – that works in two ways:

  • Via Flickr.com – I established a corresponding photo-group on Flickr, so you simply have to add your winning shots to the group to join the contest!
  • Via Streetfiles.org – Of course I also established a corresponding photo-group on Streetfiles, for those who don’t like Flickr…

Notice that it is not possible to join the contest by sending me photos via e-mail, because the other jurors (Luna Park & RJ) are not able to score photos they can’t access to…

Do you have a winning shot? Send in your best photos for a chance to win one of our great prize-packages! The five winning photos will also be featured on urbanartcore.eu.

The Jury

Luna Park – Luna, from New York, is a librarian, progressive street art and graffiti enthusiast and maybe one of the most active urban art documentors worldwide.

RJ Rushmore – RJ is the head behind the kick-ass street art blog Vandalog.com. Although he hasn’t been involved with street art very long, he is now a internationally known distinguished expert…

By the way, don’t forget to spread the word!
