Update: Here are the winners of the Urban Photo-Contest 2010…
It’s amazing to see how well this urban art blog grows. A lot of graffiti and street art enthusiasts follow me on twitter (about 2.500), read the RSS feed (about 630) and comment or link back the posts. I never thought about that success when I started the www.urbanartcore.eu project with that great urban photo contest in August 2009. About 220 people with about 700 photos joined the competition at that time…
Sponsors?
To celebrate the great success of Urban Artcore – Yes, I’m really happy and satisfied – and to keep my promise to repeat the photo contest, I organize a new contest in this moment! Therefore I already won some sponsors over and prepared a nice plan of action. But I’m still on the search for additional sponsors to offer you even more great prizes – so if you know someone who works for an creative underground label, or you know someone who knows someone who has her own magazine, publishing house, or a own graffiti or photography shop, write me an e-mail!
Jury?
Additionally I’m still on the search for jury members. Last year, Luna Park from New York, Peter Nitsch from Munich helped me deciding the top urban photos…For this year’s urban art photo contest I already have some ideas for jury members, but I would like to know who would be suitable in your eyes – Write the name of your favorite graffiti photographer, street art blogger, creative journalist or underground mag editor in a comment! I will try to contact your nominees…
Detailed info?
By the way, I forgot the most important info: This year’s urban art photo contest will happen in July, so make sure to have your best, most brilliant and most convincing urban art photos available then! More detailed info will follow soon. Now check your circle of acquaintances for some interesting personalities for the jury and sponsors-list.

Hey, try the Graffik London boys on Portobello road, mention Lawrence from b-uncut, they might be able to offer something, more than likely the perfect place to exhibit the winning entries, they’re top geezas and always up for new ideas, search them in google or find their contact at this post…PEACE!
I filmed this in their back yard, http://b-uncut.com/blog/2010/05/27/graffiti-artist-meres-comes-for-nyc-subway-battles-in-london/
