Stickers 2 Book

Stickers, they are creative, often independent and one of the fastest ways to be present on the streets. Stickers are “an integral part of [nowadays] contemporary street art and visual culture” (hooked), even if they are steady used for advertising campaigns.

Used by street artists, typographers, graffiti artists or graphic designer, the small sticky notes, signs, logos and messages have become popular in cities all over the world in the last years.

In “Stickers 2”, about 150 different artists having a weakness for stickers, are presented with over 700 stunning examples of contemporary sticker designs from around the world.

“Stickers 2 takes readers on a visual journey around the world through the world’s most exciting cities and rural areas across the USA, Brazil, Australia, Singapore and Europe. Essays and contributions by artists and connoisseurs of the scene provide further insight into the background of this underground phenomenon.”

The full colored, soft cover, 292 pages book is available for a few weeks. It’s a must for people, who placed their own stickers in the streets. Authors of this book are the founders of the International Sticker Awards.
