Samparkour – Parkour in São Paulo

When I think of São Paulo, I have mainly Pixação in my mind. What I didn’t know until I watched this video is, that the urban trend sport Parkour becomes more and more popular in the Brazil Metropolis.

“Samparkour” is an almost 7 minutes long short film, which was part of the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival 2009 (LABRFF) and impresses with great pictures and impressions. It reveals the city of São Paulo under the look of Parkour.

By the way, the young guy, climbing and running through and over São Paulo in this video is Zico Corrêa, a internationally well-known Brazilian traceur.
