Roa Exhibition in Berlin

Roa Exhibition in Berlin

Yesterday, right after the doors of my exhibition opening closed, one of the currently most famous urban artists arrived in Berlin! Yep, Roa is back in town for his upcoming exhibition at Skalitzers Gallery…

Simply entitled Transit, the show by the Belgian graffiti artist (his first solo-show in Berlin by the way!) includes new paintings presenting his internationally well-known graffiti animals!

Roa brings the creatures which inhabit the fringes of human society back to the metropolis to expose the natural beauty in the cycle of life and death. (Skalitzers Gallery)

Additionally, Roa will launch his first limited edition book Roa: An Introduction To Animal Representation by Mammal Press and is going to paint some new murals, which is something I’m really looking forward to! I will keep you posted, just make sure to save the date:

Date: July 9th, 7pm
Location: Skalitzers Gallery, Skalitzer Straße 43, Berlin

  1. could you possible tell where in berlin I can find the rabbit piece in the pic above (or any other nice ROA pieces in berlin)?

    • the rabbit above is at the Bethanien (Mariannenplatz in Kreuzberg). additionally there is a huge Roa piece next to Schönhauserallee station and one at Görlitzer Bahnhof station….

  2. I dont understand where you buy the book. The gallery says they don’t have and the website says they don’t have. Two mentions of people with books on the internet, but is it just one person selling it to the other? Who has it?
