PHO – Urban Live Painting

The last I wrote about the artspace “Projectroom” in Berlin, was the article about the Herakut live painting several weeks ago.

This time, the true talented urban artist Marco Grassi aka PHO painted live at this location! While he did his interesting performance, some other guys filmed him and made a crazy time-lapse video.

PHO approached street art for the first time in Paris. He is now one of the major protagonists of the Italian street art scene…

“In the 1995 he attended the painting class with Luciano Fabro at the Brera’s Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, extending his research in materials that the city can offer, recovering elements from the daily life like torn manifestos and wooded pallets, used as support for the pictorial intervention, where the action of the time destroys and transforms the artwork, posing its roots in a urban context.” (bazaart)
