Peeta – Italian Graffiti in Germany

“Sparkle and Fade” is the name of the new exhibition by internationally-known graffiti artist Peeta, which takes place at the Pretty Portal Gallery in Düsseldorf at the end of this week. It’s his first art show in Germany!

For more than 16 years, the Italian urban artist perfects his outstanding and startling 3D-style with its organic and typographic elements. Since 2000, he’s a member of the famous New Yorker-based FX crew and works on different projects around the world.

As I saw Peeta’s, whose real name is Manuel Di Rita, artworks the first time, they reminded me of Loomit and Daim, because of the 3D-effects. But there is something more…

Vernissage is this Friday, October 30th, 7pm. For more info, visit prettyportal.de. For me it’s a pity that I have no time to go to this fabulous exhibition.
