Mode2 Live Painting

Mode2’s latest urban art series was about porn and nude people and I’m very curious to see whether he will also paint one of his amazing bold nude portraits this weekend at the “Jacki Terrasse” in Berlin…

Mode2, one of the founding members of the Chrome Angelz, has struck a bridge from traditional graffiti and cartoon-like characters to realistic human figures. For that reason, his latest artworks, combining graffiti-inspired sketches and contemporary drawing art, were part of the “Post Graffiti Art” called exhibition at the Lucas Carrieri Art Gallery in Berlin!

We feel honored to present you a true legend who will paint a wall at HOME on Jacki Terrasse this sunday. Mode 2 has been drawing for as far back as he can remember, and spent his youth deep into comics, sci-fi and fantasy literature. When he finished his ‘O’-level exams in summer ‘84, he started hanging out in London’s Covent Garden Hip Hop scene. Because of his ability at drawing, he decided to pick up the spray can, and from that moment onwards, set about making a name for himself within the global Hip Hop community. (jackiterrasse.com)

I will be there and I will try to take some nice shots. Hope to see you there! Here some nspiring examples of Mode2’s urban artworks…

Opening: Sunday, June 20th, 5pm
Location: Jacki Terrasse, Schillingbrücke
