Marker Fetish – Tag Tools

Marker Photo-Series | Yes, I love markers – I have to confess this! Especially my squeezers and also the biggest marker worldwide are super dope.

A marker pen, marking pen, felt-tip pen, or marker, is a pen which has its own ink-source, and usually a tip made of a porous, pressed fibres; such as felt or nylon. (Wikipedia)

Spanish photographer German Rigol recently extended his beautiful to look at marker photo-series for what reason there are round about 60 portraits of different, used and unique markers in his album now! It’s a must to see for all the marker enthusiasts or people who just like the used, dirty look of everyday objects.

Did you know by the way, that markers have different names in different countries? In Australia for example they are called “texta” , in the UK “felt tips” , in New Zealand “felts” and in Spanish-speaking countries “rotulador” or “marcador”… Do you know any other?

  1. In Germany we call them “edding” according to the leading company producing and marketing permanent markers since the 60s.
