Lueneburg – A City Gets Redesigned

When the new semester begins at the Leuphana University of Lueneburg, one of the most spectacular art events will start lately under Rik Reinking’s guidance!

From 5 to 9 October 2009, more than 35 internationally renowned street artists will go through the city of Lueneburg and the University campus and redesign public space and building facades at the invitation of the University.

About 1200 freshmen students have the task to document this project and make videos about it. The nearly 360 expected video clips will be published on the internet in cooperation with Google.

In parallel, an exhibition at the town hall shows contemporary works from the collection Reinking from Hamburg. If it will be as promised, it will be huge!

Maybe I will go there and take some shots for you…
