Another View on Street Art & Graffiti

Today is the day for some first official words about my upcoming urban art photography exhibition in Berlin! Entitled Urban Artists in Action – Another View on Street Art & Graffiti Westberlin Gallery will present selected photos of my Urban Artists in Action series, featuring some well-known street and graffiti artists from around the globe!

His close knit, almost family bonds with prominent street artists from both Berlin and around the world including Buff Diss, Morten Andersen, FinDAC and Remi/Rough naturally developed into a large collection of intimate photographs following studio visits and street actions of some of his, and our own favourite heroes.

The show will feature a selection of 49 photographic works from Brenna’s large portfolio focusing on the brilliant people behind street art and graffiti works that we all know and love but have always wondered… who and how? (Westberlin Gallery)

I working on the preparations for this show (my first one!) since mid-February, digging in my photo-archives, selecting the “right” photos, asking for permission and organizing some special…

In the end I came up with photos of Buff Diss (AUS), Titi Freak (BRA), Czarnobyl (GER), Dan Kitchener (UK), Ben Eine (UK), Emess (GER), FinDAC (UK), Herakut (GER), Augustine Kofie (USA), Mode2 (FRA), Nychos (AUT), Run Don’t Walk (ARG), Remi/Rough (UK) and Morten Andersen (DK).

Now the crunch time started and I’m really looking forward to the big opening party including some live tape art by Buff Diss! Of course you are all invited to come around and say hello – And don’t forget to spread the word…!

Doors: June 23rd, 6pm
Location: Westberlin Gallery, Brunnenstr. 56, 13355 Berlin
