Aerosol Fumes: Berlin’s Most Famous Stencil Artists

Berlin is the world capital of stencil art – You don’t think so? Then take a look at the extravagant “Aerosol Fumes” stencil art exhibition!

Since two days, Berlin’s five most well-known stencil artists – Bohomaz, Czarnobyl, Emess, Evol and Pisa73 – exhibit together in the Neurotitan Gallery.

The exhibition brings together, what belongs together – Very detailed stencil artworks and large-sized abstract multilayer spray-paints, created by five different urban artists in five different styles.

This Friday, I visited the opening and was delighted. To see such a large number of superb stencil artworks in one gallery is really great. I walked from one artwork to another, every time wondering how they are able to spray-paint these small details.

If you have no time to visit that flagship stencil art exhibition yourself, take a look at my photos! For more info about the artists, read my previous article about “Aerosol Fumes”.

Update
I photographed Emess and Czarnobyl while live-painting in summer 2010…
